concrete with recycled  calcareous sandstone aggregate

About the Product

Concrete with recycled aggregates made of sand-lime brick is a mineral product made of water, recycled sand-lime brick, sand, cement and concrete admixtures. Bimolab’s material sample used 70 (vol.)% recycled material, which is produced from prepared quarry from sand-lime bricks. These are samples which have been developed within the framework of research. The concrete granulate used as aggregate is pure and consists of 95 % sand-lime brick (Min_9).

RC concrete with recycled aggregates of sand-lime brick is used as concrete in building construction, as RC concrete Type 1 and Type 2.

The use of recycled material protects primary raw materials. This does not reduce the climate-impacting gases. When used, the distances from the point of demolition and its processing must be balanced with the distances from fresh concrete in order to prevent a rebound effect.

Depending on the type of construction, concrete can be reused (especially in the context of serial construction). It is possible to recycle RC concrete without mixing by plastering which corrupts its purity.
