About the Product

The pressed clay brick is a mineral building product. It consists of unfired clay that is a mixture of clay, silt and sand, which are natural raw materials.

In the interior, unfired clay generates a constant relative humidity of approx. 50%. Due to its high heat storage capacity it helps to avoid peak temperatures. The clay brick has a neutralising effect on the room air, smells or cigarette smoke are absorbed by it.

The clay brick is used in load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. Due to its purely mineral composition, the clay brick is not flammable. The brick is rectangular and with dimensions of 295 mm x 140 mm x 90 mm it has a weight of 7.5 kg (2200 kg/m³).

Clay bricks, like other bricks, can be reused if the mortar bond is sufficient. As the clay brick is taken from the ground, not processed, consists of raw materials and is manufactured in a pure form, it can be recycled indefinitely and completely and returned to the biological cycle.
