About the Product
Concrete with recycled aggregates made of concrete is a mineral product of water, recycled concrete, sand, cement and concrete admixtures. Bimolab’s material sample used 70% recyclate, which is produced from processed and crushed concrete. These are samples which have been developed within the framework of research. The concrete granulate used as aggregate is pure and consists of 95 % concrete (Min_14). With this composition the highest quality RC concrete is produced.
RC concrete with recycled aggregates of concrete is used as concrete in building construction as RC-concrete Type 1 and Type 2. In Type 1, 90 % of the aggregates approved up to 45% are used as concrete and rock recyclate and 10 % as clinker or sand-lime brick. In Type 2, 70 % of the 35 % approved aggregates are recycled concrete and stone. The other 30 % consist of clinker, sand-lime brick and other mineral building materials.
The use of recycled materials protects primary raw materials. The climate-impacting gases cannot thus be reduced. When used, the distances from the point of concrete demolition as well as its preparation must be balanced with the distances from fresh concrete in order to prevent a rebound effect.
Depending on the type of construction, concrete can be reused (especially in the context of serial construction). It is possible to recycle RC concrete without mixing by plastering or gluing.
